UK. PASA launches pensions dashboards toolkit

PASA today published the first content in its new ‘Dashboards Toolkit’. The Toolkit will be updated over time and the first releases include:

  • A questionnaire for trustees to issue to their AVC providers in advance of connecting their scheme AVCs to dashboards
  • A checklist and suggested list of activities for administrators to connect to and maintain AVC data
  • A list of AVC providers and their connection methods

Geraldine Brassett, Chair of the PASA Dashboards Scheme Configuration sub-group, commented: “PASA has received many requests for support with the practicalities of connecting AVCs to dashboards. These new releases will allow administrators and trustees to begin the next step on their dashboards journey. We hope the Dashboards Toolkit will become a valuable resource for industry as it ramps up preparation for dashboards. We’ll be adding more content to it on a regular basis.”

Maurice Titley, co-Chair of the PASA Dashboards Working Group, commented: “We understand the importance of ensuring the right data is made available to pension savers. Trustees and administrators are now focusing on ensuring they not only meet their compliance duties but also provide the best saver experience.  Connecting AVCs to pensions dashboards is a key issue and we hope the AVC content of the Dashboards Toolkit will help schemes in achieving both these objectives.”
