Perú. Asociación de AFP pondrá en marcha plan piloto de contribución paralela en noviembre

La AAFP y la Universidad del Pacífico se adjudicaron el fondo que otorga el Innovation for Poverty Action (IPA) para financiar un programa piloto para implementar el mecanismo de “Matching Contribution”, o contribución paralela, en el sistema privado de pensiones del Perú.

“Estamos empezando el diseño de este trabajo, que va a tener dos etapas y la primera es un plan piloto donde se va a trabajar con cerca de 130 unidades de microempresarios, pero el objetivo es llegar a 1,400 microempresarios”, explicó la presidenta de la AAFP, Giovanna Prialé.

¿En qué consiste el Matching Contribution?, pues se trata del mecanismo por el cual por cada sol que aporte el trabajador o empleador, se obtiene otro monto (igual o inferior) de parte del Estado desde el momento que el trabajador se afilie al Sistema Privado de Pensiones (SPP).
