D3P, a new company dedicated to adding billions to pension coverage and old-age income globally

CEO William Price, formerly of the UK Treasury and World Bank, and Darren Ryder, former National Manager of KiwiSaver in New Zealand, announce the launch of D3P Global Pension Consulting – a new company with an unrivalled group of professionals dedicated to building better pension systems globally.
Unlike other companies, D3P Global Pension Consulting will work with governments not only to diagnose and design pension systems but also bring deep expertise to deliver those reforms – working from strategic ambition through to implementation. This unique 3D capability was built from decades of experience in developed and developing markets, where too often the large gap between diagnosis and delivery stops great ideas creating real impact.

Commenting on the launch, D3P Global CEO William Price said:

“Our experts have delivered change in all regions and with all types of pension systems – expanding coverage, cutting costs, boosting contributions and investment returns and building strong regulatory and supervisory foundations. The new company will bring these insights to governments around the world”.

D3P Global can integrate macroeconomic and poverty analysis of pension reforms with deep expertise in strategy, regulation, risk and outcome-based supervision and pension delivery. Team members have worked all over the world – from the UK to New Zealand and from India to Ghana and Costa Rica – and with all kinds of pension systems.

D3P Global President Darren Ryder commented:

“We strongly believe that when experts in diagnosis, design and delivery come together they create designs that work and delivery that is truly transformational. Our vision is to boost coverage by one billion people and channel an additional $50 billion to members”.

D3P Global operates globally, serving high, middle and low-income countries using the hands-on expertise of the team in markets throughout the EU and wider-Europe, Africa, South and East Asia, North America, Latin America, Australasia and Middle East. The company brings together actuarial, legal, regulatory and supervision skills with investment, modelling and poverty analysis. For more information, visit us at: www.d3pglobal.com.

D3P Global is a UK registered company with a global mandate. It will not be working for UK clients in the initial phases to focus on government clients in the rest of the world.
